Job Title: Junior IT Specialist
Duties & Responsibilities
Job description
- Assisting the support team with technical queries.
- Stock management and ensuring sufficient stock available.
- Remote online training on devices.
- Ensure that all equipment and software are up to date.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as necessary.
- Document IT processes and procedures for future reference.
- Assist with maintaining and improving the organization’s IT infrastructure, including network devices and servers.
- Resolving technical issues on devices.
- Assist and report on transactions not received.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with network devices, servers, and other IT infrastructure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Post-school studies in IT would be an advantage.
- 2 years of experience working in an IT support role.
