Job Title: Registered Nurse
Introduction
We are hiring a Registered Nurse in Alberton, Gauteng. Your primary goal will be to provide effective, safe, and quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards.
In this role you will be assessing, planning, executing, and supervising the implementation of care to meet the unique needs of your patients. You will also be responsible to be committed to promoting cost-effective medical solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements:
- A relevant Nursing qualification ( Degree/ or equivalent NQF 7 qualification)
- Relevant qualifications and experience within a specialist area
- Compliance with the SANC code for a Registered Nurse and all applicable healthcare legislation
- Flexible working hours/shift work
- Capacity to implement to maintain the standard practice required.
- Advanced Computer Literacy
Desired Experience & Qualification
Critical Outputs:
- Practice patient care according to the Scope of Practice and take full responsibility for these activities.
- Communicate effectively with doctors regarding requirements and contribute to the holistic care of patients.
- Attend handover of the report at shift commencement to ensure continuity of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care and promote their health and well-being.
- Conduct an audit of health records to ensure compliance and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure all stock is well-controlled, managed, charged, and credited appropriately.
- Promote and maintain good public relations with patients, relatives, and visitors.
