How to Apply to the Stellenbosch University
The Stellenbosch University 2023 application can be done in either of two ways: hardcopy or online.
Note: Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible in the application cycle. Applications for all programmes commence on the 1st of March every year and closes on the 30th of June every year.
Stellenbosch University Online Application
You may apply online. In order to apply online you will need a working email address and a functional cell phone number, or, if you are an international applicant, your passport number.
Once you’ve completed the online application, you don’t need to send a hardcopy application. Hardcopy application is available on campus for those who don’t have access to an internet connection.
Complete your online application and get your SU student number and 8-digit password. Importantly, getting a SU student number does not mean you have been accepted. Even though you may meet the minimum requirements of the course you are applying to, it does not mean you are guaranteed acceptance to the specific programme.
If you have any queries during the online application process, you can email info@sun.ac.za or contact the University at 021 808 9111.
