The management of the University of Cape Town (UCT) is inviting applications for interested and suitably qualified students (Local and International) for admission into undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the 2021 academic year.

How to Apply to the University of Cape Town
The University of Cape Town 2021 application can be done both online and offline.
You may apply online. In order to apply online you will need a working email address and a functional cell phone number, or, if you are an international applicant, your passport number.
Once you’ve completed the online application, you don’t need to send a hardcopy application. Hardcopy application is available on campus for those who don’t have access to an internet connection.

NB: Applications for the 2021 academic year are expected to open at the end of March 2021. Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible in the application cycle.

Things to note when applying via hardcopy:
- The “old-fashioned” way usually takes longer, so you’ll have to be patient.
- Make sure you have attached all relevant supporting documentation.
Application Fees for University of Cape Town:
South African applicants are required to pay an application fee of R100.
