Job Title: Marketing Specialist
Introduction
Our Client, a National Fleet Management Company based in Durban seeks a Marketing Specialist.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Internal and external company product or feature releases
- Internal quarterly newsletter
- Management of all social media content
- E-Mail campaigns
- Generation of internal and external general documents
- E-mail signatures and business cards or any other forms of printed material (flyers, brochures, pamphlets, magazine inserts, banners, etc.)
- Generation of content to be utilized on web messaging box (customers would receive this content when logging into the web software to view their vehicles)
- Development and design of product information publications
- Management and control of quote complier software
- General assistance with marketing reporting
- Assistance with market surveys as required
- Utilization and management of in-house CRM software for the purpose of running and managing marketing e-mail campaigns;
- Assistance with the development of new products and projects as required;
- Liaising with marketing suppliers for the ordering of marketing promotional items, including, but not limited to below list of suppliers:
- Advertising agency staff and account managers
- Videographers
- Photographers
- Copywriters
- Web Engineers
- Magazine Editors
- DTP operators
- Voice over artists
- Market and competitor research as advised by senior management and required based on market trends;
- Dispatching of marketing stock as and when required;
- Generation of management reports such as the below but not limited to:
- LinkedIn analytics data reporting
- ROI on any digital marketing campaigns
- ROI on any printed campaigns
- SEO traffic analytics for Au’s main website
- Assisting the Global team with Marketing duties as required;
- Management of a Group of companies’ social media platforms;
- Management of a Group of companies’ main websites and continual updates
- of same;
- Management and release of content through web messaging box via
- internal ERP system;
- Conceptualization and execution of customer year-end gifts or any other marketing-related orders required;
- Conceptualization and execution of any brand activation events or expos.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Marketing Diploma or Marketing Degree with 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent command of the English language (basic copywriting skills)
- Computer literate – proficient in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
- Basic to intermediate design capabilities on open-source software such as Canva
- Knowledge of WordPress
- Outgoing personality with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
Package & Remuneration
R 15 – 20 000 per month plus a contribution towards Medical Aid
