Job Title: Quality Control Manager – RE Manufacturing

Duties & Responsibilities
You will be tasked with overseeing the execution of inspection, testing, and evaluation procedures, ensuring product quality and consistency of Battery manufacturing. Their leadership will drive a culture of continuous quality improvement and spearhead change initiatives within the quality processes. This role will be pivotal in establishing, managing, and implementing quality systems and measures to foster an enduring culture of quality development.
This role involves navigating the transition from R&D to pilot-scale production and beyond, encompassing supplier communication, quality training, trend analysis, and collaboration with Engineering and Production teams. The manager will be entrusted with meticulous documentation and systematic processes for materials, inventory, manufacturing, and outgoing products. Proficiency in statistical process control, creative problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to continuous improvement is essential, along with expertise in industrial management, quality certification, Six Sigma, and Lean manufacturing methodologies.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality/Reliability engineering in industrial manufacturing.
- Proficient in statistical process control software, design of experiments, and using them for complex problem solving in battery product manufacturing.
- Successful track record of leading teams, projects, and/or programs.
- Skilled in prioritization, multi-tasking, and thriving in a high-demand environment.
- Hands-on experience in assembly and basic machining (e.g., drill press, sanding).
