Job Title: Audit Senior/Supervisor

Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit Senior/Supervisor to join our Audit Team in the Brisbane office. The successful candidate will be required to work from the Brisbane, Queensland office (this is not a remote working role). For international applicants, we will assist the right person with relocation expenses.

As an Audit Senior/Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing audit engagements, supervising audit staff during the engagement, and ensuring documentation in the audit files meet Global Focus and Audit Standards. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and interesting client base including listed companies across a broad range of industry sectors including Mining, Technology, Financial Services, Property, Education, Health, and Retail.

You will work closely with your assigned clients to drive value, results, and innovation, and benefit from the:

Duties & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading, developing, and mentoring staff;
  • Managing a portfolio of audit clients, with consistent delivery of quality work which meets all regulatory requirements on time and to budget;
  • Day-to-day team management, scheduling, audit file preparation, reviews, etc;
  • Reviewing financial statements prepared under IFRS and relevant regulations;
  • Fostering great relationships with clients, including executive management, through the delivery of the audit and communicating findings;
  • Representing the Assurance Division within the firm and the marketplace; and
  • Other assurance engagements as and when they arise.

Desired Experience & Qualification

You must hold CA/CPA or equivalent qualification. Knowledge of IFRS, Auditing Standards, and Global Focus.

In addition, you will have:

  • Strong external audit experience (at least 5 years experience in a professional external audit environment)
  • Confident communicator
  • Written and spoken English are required.

Package & Remuneration

The remuneration package is dependent on experience.
