Job Title: Financial Accountant – Bcom/btech (fin Accounting) – Northern Suburbs
Duties & Responsibilities
- Tax and statutory reporting – Key area of focus
- Managing 3 direct reports (X2 Creditors; X1 Debtor)
- Month-end processing
- Cash Book Payments
- Accounts Payable and receivables
- Authorise weekly wages, general ledger and bank reconciliation
- Quarterly Statutory Reporting and Tax Reconciliation
- BEE and ESG system update
- Financial Forecasts
- Ad-hoc assignments & Financial investigations
- ERP System, QMS and SHEQ
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric
- BCom or College Equivalent majoring in Financial Accounting
- 2-3 Years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in an ERP System
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and relevant legislation (VAT; PAYE etc.)
- Good Excel skills
- Google Suite familiarity advantageous
