Job Title: Debtors Clerk
Introduction
We are looking for a Debtors Clerk, they need to have debotors expereince and have to be confident with debt collection, as it is a support function to the finance department.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Attending to clients/walk-ins (Phone calls, taking messages, receiving clients for meetings)
- Accounts, Sending invoices, delivery notes, credit notes & statements when needed.
- Working on etrack, docuware, Sage pastel.
- Assisting accounts with payroll, filing, emails and client queries.
- Assisting top management when asked
- Sending out Credit Applications & filing of Credit Applications
- Legal matters – updating top management when required of current legal matters / saving invoices for monthly payments
- Debtors duties (Monthly phone calls/e-mails for Monies to come in)
- Assisting with Scanning & confirming of invoices + filing of invoices)
- Scanning & filing of Dispatch notes & Tax invoices
- Assisting with any extra required duties
- Assistance all round
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Preferrably fully bi-lingual in English and Afrikaans
Friendly and vibrant
Degree/Certificate or Diploma in Finance – Advantageous
Package & Remuneration
R10 000 to R12000 based upon experience
