Job Title: Sage 300 People HR & Payroll Consultant
Introduction and Role Description
Our company is urgently looking for potential Consultants to join our Payroll & HR team based at either Gauteng, KZN, or Eastern Cape, however, looking forward to extensive traveling throughout the country to service different clients.
The HR & Payroll Consultant will be responsible for administering and overseeing different projects for different clients by providing day-to-day support to clients from the conceptualization phase right through to the implementation phase. The successful candidate will be responsible for Consulting on the following People modules:
- Sage 300 People HR and Payroll Modules
- People Employee Self Service
The Consultant will be responsible for the following duties during each implementation:
- Project Management of HR, Payroll, and ESS projects including Project Plans, Project Costing, and Progress Meetings
- Issue Logs
- Update of PPO
- Needs Analysis
- System Configuration
- Parallel Run
- Live Run
- On-site User Acceptance Training
- Closure meetings
- Maintenance consultations
- On-site consulting and ad-hoc telephonic support.
Job Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Human Resources / IT or related qualification
- Payroll & HR Systems Implementation and Support certification (Sage 300 People certification)
- Tax practitioner certification would be an added advantage
- Working knowledge of South African Payroll and Tax legislation
- Valid code B driver’s license and own transport
- South African citizen or valid South African work permit
- 2 + years relevant HR & Payroll experience in Sage 300 people
- 1 + years of consulting experience
