Job Title: Technical Onboarding Specialist (Software Developer)
Introduction
If you enjoy client interaction and have a strong technical development background then this well-established Software Development House is looking to talk to you! They provide solutions to Fintech and other sectors. This energetic Software Developer with a flair for customer interaction and guidance will join their team as a Technical Customer Onboarding Specialist. Office based in Johannesburg North.
Will provide technical assistance and guidance to new customers integrating with and using their solutions. Will contribute to the team and to the ongoing success in delivering excellent service to customers.Work closely with the development and operations team to ensure the clients accurately and successfully adopt their solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist new customers with integration to their APIs and software services.
- Share knowledge, guidance, and some technical training to customers whilst integrating or adopting services.
- Assist customers with debugging and fault-finding during the integration process.
- Work with testers and product owners to provide quality onboarding services to customers.
- Assist with reporting, metrics, and feedback to ensure proper adoption of their services to customers.
- Assist with the identification of bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate these issues.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Relevant Computer Science or Software Engineer Qualification
- 4 years or more of software development experience of which 2 years must be with Microsoft Stack.
- At least 2 years in the role of Software integration and Technical Customer Onboarding.
- A demonstrable track record of delivering high-quality, value-adding services to customers.
- Experienced and proficient in C#, .Net Framework, MSSQL, Web Services, and a good understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Experience with modern software design patterns, including those of clean architecture and domain driver design.
- Proficient in API creation and integration, including the use of REST and SOAP.
- Knowledge and experience in basic networking and infrastructure security.
- Direct experience in working with Open Banking/ Open Data protocols and services, as well as knowledge of FAPI, is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Azure Cloud Services is considered an advantage.
