Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Introduction
Our client, a leading safety equipment manufacturer based in North Riding is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer.
A successful International company in the Mining Industry is establishing a new product division in Africa focused on research and development. With projects ranging from high-volume personal electronics to larger capital equipment, this is an opportunity for talented individuals to find their ideal role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Write, develop, and test code for engineering projects.
- On existing projects – write in the languages that are already operational.
- On new projects – write in the language that you determine as being the most appropriate.
- Contribute to the development of the hardware.
- Contribute to the innovation committee as an attendee.

Desired Experience & Qualification
- BSc Cocmputer Science or BEng Computer Engineering.
- 5 Years experience as an Embedded Software Engineer.
- Minimum of five years of experience in the following:
- Programming of embedded systems.
- C/C++, Javascript, SQL.
- Graphical User Interface.
- Examples of projects:
- Which use WiFi, BLE, RFID, or UWB technology.
- Arduino Microcontroller.
- Beaglebone Black (or Raspberry Pi).
- Tags:
