Job Title: New Business Development Manager
Introduction
A global packaging company is looking for a New Business Development Manager to join their Durban team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Performance Areas:

- Serving the existing & new regional customer base:
- Acquisition
- Establish & expansion of market shares
- Quotation, tracking, & negotiation
- Enforcing price increases according to specifications
- Reporting
- Support of existing customers
- Expansion of existing business relationships
- Building new contacts, developing new segment businesses & acquiring new businesses
- Development of action plans to secure the existing business & to acquire new business areas (implementation of the bundling strategy)
- Monitoring of business developments & forecasts for the current fiscal year regarding to the current market situation
- Price responsibility for existing business
- Observe market trends & competitor development
Desired Experience & Qualification
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Degree
- Experience with MS Office, CRM Systems (Salesforce), Pastel
- Experience with packaging & market know-how
- 4 years’ sales experience, preferably in the packaging industry.
Skills Requirements:
- Hands-on mentality
- Self-initiative
- Assertiveness
- Team & customer-orientated work habit
- Negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel 50%
