We are recruiting to fill the following position below:

Job Title: Junior Bookkeeper

Overview:

An established Accounting Firm based in East London, with a diverse client base, is growing its team!

Responsibilities:

• Capturing of cash books and processing up to Trial Balance
• Drafting Financial Statements
• VAT processing and return submissions
• PAYE returns
• EMP501 returns
• Completion of income tax returns
• Other bookkeeping-related duties

Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Tertiary Finance Qualification (advantageous)
• Previous experience in a similar role (essential)
• Experience processing cash book and processing up to Trial Balance (essential)
• Experience compiling Annual Financial Statement (advantageous)
• 1+ years in an accounting firm environment (advantageous)

Software: 

• MS Office
• Pastel
