Job Title: Professional Accountant
Introduction
Technibook has been giving clients peace of mind regarding their business and personal finances since 1998. Our team of accounting professionals values integrity, accuracy, and loyalty to provide an excellent service – as pure as honey, and we are looking for a professional accountant to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- SARS liaison
- Compiling Annual financial statements
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Compile & Publish Annual Financial Statements
- Accounting Practice experience
- VAT reconciliations and submissions
- Salary Reconciliations and submissions
- CaseWare experience
- E-filing experience
- Excel fundi – Advanced MS Excel skills
- Word
- Good client liaison
- Pastel/Xero Experience
- Payroll experience will be a bonus
Preferably
- Graduate
- Management experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other relevant degree
- Additional certification (SAIPA, SAIBA or CPA) is a plus
Package & Remuneration
Based on experience.
