Job Title: Financial Manager CA/SA
Introduction
Our Client operating in the Manufacturing industry and based in Cape Town, is searching for a qualified CA with sound finance experience in the Manafacturing environment. This opportunity calls for a person who will manage the financial function by applying best practice principles.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensuring sound financial management strategies through effective budgeting, forecasting, cost-saving initiatives and working capital interventions
Building strong relationships with customers, auditors, suppliers, legal and financial institutions
Business planning management including medium-term business plans
Monthly financial reporting and reconciliations
Initiating and implementing business improvement plans
Effective internal controls
Managing of the procurement process
Managing of staff
Desired Experience & Qualifications
CA/SA
CIMA qualification will be an added advantage
5 – 10 years of finance experience within a Manufacturing environment
Strong leadership skills
Results driven
Ability to manage risks
Critical thinking skills
Package & Remuneration
Market related commensurate to knowledge, skills and experenience
