Job Title: Cost Accountant
Introduction
COST ACCOUNTANT
Area: Hartbeespoortdam, Gauteng
Salary: negotiable up to R30000 CTC P/M
Purpose of the position: Manufacturing facility in Hartbeespoortdam require the services of a Junior Cost Accountant to examine, analyse and evaluate data to track job profitability & prepare financial reports and budgets.
Duties & Responsibilities
DUTIES
- Drafting of Costing Sheets for New Clients.
- Updating of existing Costing Sheets for current Clients as specs change.
- Maintain Costing Sheets in line with R&D Procurement and Production changes.
- Quarterly costing updates for Client Price Lists.
- Flag GP changes as changes are picked up.
- Liaise with Procurement Department on pack, price and supplier changes.
- Liaise with Research & Development Department on formulation changes.
- Ensure that all Bill of Materials are accurate in all aspects.
- Update product selling prices on SYSPRO.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12
- Accounting Diploma/Degree
- 3 years costing experience in manufacturing environment.
- MS Office computer literate.
Package & Remuneration
Salary: negotiable up to R30000 CTC P/M
