Job Title: Semi- Skilled Diesel Mechanic

Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel engines, vehicles, and equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks, to ensure optimal performance and longevity;
Inspect machines, engines, transmissions and run diagnostic test to discover functionality issues;
Conduct thorough inspections of diesel engines, vehicles, and equipment to identify potential problems or safety concerns and recommend appropriate repairs or maintenance actions;
Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule repairs;
Building and assembling mechanical component according to requirements;
Servicing of trucks and general maintenance;
Replenish fluids and components of truck and bakkie engines;
Keep logs of work and report on issues;

Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance;
Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, and components;
Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and their components;
Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines;
Valid driver’s license.
