Job Title: HR/IR Officer
Introduction
Our company is currently recruiting for a HR/IR Officer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg.
Job Purpose:
- Manage administrative duties including the maintenance of personnel records, HR documents and onboarding guides
- Manage every aspect of the employment process, including orientation and training
- Updating internal records, databases, and other administrative tasks in a timely manner
- Provide personnel support, whilst conforming to Labor Legislation
Duties & Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain personnel records
- Update internal databases (record Leaves)
- Prepare personnel records
- Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics
- Attend to employee queries about HR/ IR related issues
- Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information/ input
- Participate in HR projects i.e. Skills, Learning and Development, BBBEE, Wage negotiations
- Supporting the implementation of HR strategy within the business
- Advise and maintain a good Industrial Relations environment
- Ensure effective work-force management
- Form an integral part of Skills planning, career pathing and reporting as per the relevant SETA requirements – including accurate compilation and submission of WSP/ATR – Administration of employee benefits and/ or compensation
- Conduct workplace investigations as and when required
- Assist with the recruitment process – set up interviews and liaise with recruitment agencies to ensure best skill
- CCMA representation as and when required
- Union environment experience
- Succession planning
- Performance management
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- SABPP Registration or any HR (People Management) Governance authority
- Experienced in CCMA representation with a proven track record
- Industrial Relations, application of diplomacy and tact – ability to assess risks and strategize mitigations
