Job Title: Operations Controller (Logistics) – West Rand
Introduction
Our market leader client is a 50 year old South African based provider offering services that include all modes of transport. They are one of the most renowned leaders in Global Ocean Freight, servicing Africa and the rest of the world!
Duties & Responsibilities
As their new Operations Controller, here’s what you’ll do:
- Book cargo with shipping lines manually and online
- Manage the file for all modes of transport
- Coordinate, control, arrange, and monitor the collection and deliveries and shipments of containers/ break bulk cargo
Desired Experience & Qualification
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of 3 years as an Operations Controller from the Logistics industry essential
- Matric
- Import and Export of FCL/ LCL Air and Road is essential!
- Clearing
- Transport – FCL/ LCL/ Airfreight
- Warehousing – FCL/ LCL/ Airfreight
