Job Title: Credit Controller (retail)
Introduction
Waco is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the role of a Credit Controller for their WACO Union Park Business Unit (“the division”). This incumbent will be reporting to the debtor manager.
The main scope for this position is to do collections from new and existing retail customers while maintaining good working relationships with them.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct collections of customer payments
- Allocate payments, rebates and discounts accurately and timeously as per reconciliations.
- Preparation of schedules and related information according to customer specifications
- Managing & resolving claims
- Provide general administration support.
- Prepare monthly debtors reports for audit purposes.
- Perform other ad-hoc debtors/admin duties as and when requested by management.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- A valid Grade 12 certificate
- Computer literate (essential)
- Previous experience as credit controller with retail groups as customers (essential)
- Knowledge of the K8 system (advantageous)
- To have good communication skills both written and verbal
- To be meticulous and pay attention to detail
- To have good time management skills
- To have great customer service skills
- To be able to work effectively in a team.
- To be able to work under pressure.
- To always conduct yourself in an articulate and presentable manner
