Job Title: Building Maintenance Handyman
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the maintenance manager.
- To carry out all handyman-related duties as determined by management.
- Providing assistance in other fields within the general scope of maintenance and repairs wherever required.
- To maintain all public areas and offices.
- Perform all job requests timeously to required standards.
- Provide feedback to all reported job requests.
- Assist with electrical, plumbing and HVAC repairs.
- Ensure that all facilities are tidy and functional.
- Basic fixes to equipment and building systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and identifying when items need upgrading or replacing.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
- All-round person to perform all day-to-day tasks.
Other Attributes:
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Willing to learn and have a Can-Do attitude.
- Be prepared to work long hours and be on standby if required.
- Positive thinking and problem-solving, team player.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 or relevant related qualifications.
- 5 years’ experience in building maintenance.
Package & Remuneration
Market-Related depending on experience.
