The Arup Education Trust Bursaries

The Arup Education Trust invites students to apply for Bursary Programme 2023 academic year.

Bursaries will be awarded for Built Environment degree qualifications, including the following fields:

  • Architecture
  • Construction Studies
  • Engineering
  • Quantity Surveying
  • Town Planning
To qualify for an Arup Education Trust bursary, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
  • Applicants must be South African citizens from a designated group (Black African, Coloured, Indian/Asian, disabled) as per South Africa’s B-BBEE codes
  • Must be studying towards a degree in the built environment (engineering, architecture, construction studies, quantity surveying, town planning, etc.)
  • Parents/guardians of the applicant must have a combined household net income of less than R15,000 per month
  • First-year students are welcome to apply
  • Academic excellence is vital
Should you meet the above criteria, please ensure that you have the following documents available in PDF format and that each document is less than 2MB in size:
  • South African ID Card
  • Matric Certificate (or latest matric results)
  • Latest Academic Transcript from the University (if you are at University)
  • Latest Tuition Statement (if you are at University)
