Job Title: Finance Manager
Introduction
Technologia Group is one of the foremost South African consumer electronics repair companies and Digital Care is a leading global provider of device financing and value-added services within the telecommunications industry. The companies are looking for an energetic Finance Manager to join our finance team in South Africa, in Midrand.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Acting as a financial business partner to build trusted relationships with people/teams responsible for projects to support strategic business decisions;
- Building financial and business models;
- Preparation and implementation of the full budgeting process, including forecasts;
- Reporting on the implementation of project budgets;
- Allocation and cost control;
- Checking the correctness of accounting;
- Implementation of new solutions to optimize internal processes;
- Development of controlling tools;
- Close cooperation with Senior Management;
- Collaboration at the Group level
Qualifications
- A recently qualified accountant with a university bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting;
- Min. 5 years of experience in an independent position, including min. 3 years in the leasing / rental industry;
- Experience in the international work environment;
- Very good knowledge of the Office suite, especially MS Excel;
- Knowledge of Business Central/Microsoft Dynamics is a benefit;
- Ability to evaluate implemented projects in terms of their profitability;
- The ability to think analytically, draw conclusions, and present data;
- Professional skepticism;
- Ability to manage one’s time and to work independently to meet deadlines;
- High level of commitment;
- Accuracy, meticulousness, reliability;
- Ability to work under time pressure;
- Assertiveness.
