St Alban’s College Visual Art Internships
St Alban’s College invites unemployed South African graduates to apply for the Visual Art Internship Programme 2022 / 2023.
The ideal candidate will be an Art Student who is familiar with the IEB environment and has a proven and successful track record in teaching Visual Art.
Criteria:
The successful candidate will report to the Head of the Department
The candidate must be a final year Visual Art student or a student who completed the degree and is interested in furthering a career in Teaching by completing a post-graduate diploma in Teaching for example.
The candidate must be passionate about the subject and eager to gain more skills and knowledge to further the Art department at the school.
The duties will be to:
- assist the HOD with teaching practical artmaking skills to students from grades 8 to 12.
- assist with Art exhibitions.
- teach some of grade 8 and 9 lessons.
- fill in for the HOD if she/he is not available.
- assist with research and art competitions.
- Assist with Culture week
