Job Title: Head of Finance

Our client, an International concern who is one of the largest independent outsourcers internationally, currently seeks your financial experience and expertise to head up the Finance department at their SA Head Office based in Umhlanga.
Duties & Responsibilities
Purpose of the Role:
- Full Treasury & Trading responsibility for the South African Group, delivering Group consolidated financial information in line with reporting deadlines.
- A key aspect of the role will be monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of the business working closely with the SA Leadership Team to formulate financial strategy and deliver financial performance improvement across the business to maximize the profitability of the business whilst managing cash flow and investment across the business.
- Develop finance processes and provide the direction and leadership for the finance function in order to deliver a high-performing Finance team.
- Provide a high level of commercial support on all aspects of the business’s commercial position.
The Person:
- C.A. (S.A.) or equivalent.
- Min 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience working in a fast paced, cross-functional group environment.
- Highly developed commercial awareness.
- Highly developed stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred knowledge in:
- Contact Centre/Outsourcing industry and strong understanding of business model.
- Previous experience of financial modelling.
- Statutory accounting experience for Group Companies.
- Previous experience of managing DTI and BBBEE compliance.
The Job:
Report to the Finance Director:
- Full end to end accountability for P&L, balance sheet and cashflow.
- Manage and develop Finance & Payroll function to deliver a high performing team.
- Annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts for review and sign off with Finance Director.
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts for the business.
- Oversee and manage cash flow to ensure that this is in line with business requirements.
- Oversee and manage investment to ensure that this is in line with both Capex processes and commitments.
- Oversee and manage compliance with all regulatory and statutory obligations and submissions.
- Implement and update financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all company financial policies are up to date and in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
- Effective management of the performance of the Finance & Payroll team to ensure that the team is a high-performing team.
- Provide overall Commercial support.

- A proven track record of sustained high performance is required.
- Critical thinking skills.
Package & Remuneration
R1.3 million per annum (cost to company) – negotiable.
