Job Title: Legal Advisor Manager

Job Description:
As an experienced Legal Advisor Manager, you will play a crucial role in our client’s Property Shop and Anchorage teams. You will be responsible for overseeing contract management, providing legal advice, and ensuring compliance and risk management within the retail, office, and industrial property sector. Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage contract management processes, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial lease agreements and property vendor agreements.
- Provide legal advice to the Property Shop and Anchorage teams on statutory and common law requirements, proposing practical solutions for implementation and execution.
- Oversee the legal aspects of the Property Shop and Anchorage operations, including engagement with landlords, property management companies, clients, and vendors/suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies, including the Property Practitioners Act, POPIA, and the Companies Act.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, including risk identification, measurement, control measures, and reporting.
- Manage occupational health and safety responsibilities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and coordinating day-to-day requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
- LLB degree and admitted attorney/advocate with commercial legal or litigation experience.
- Minimum of eight years of post-admission legal experience.
- Strong knowledge of property law, contract management, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
Package & Remuneration
R850,000 – R900,000 per annum
