A well-established FMCG pioneer is looking for an Accountant to join their ever-growing ranks.
Duties & Responsibilities
My client specializes in the FMCG industry and they want a Financial Accountant who is willing to jump in and hit the ground running; in order to do this, the candidate must already be versed in operational processes within an organization and processing monthly journals, prepare reconciliations, cost analysis employee trusts, tax submissions, and returns. This particular role will also require the candidate to model reporting systems to gauge the impact it has on the business, and where necessary, implement new reporting principles.

As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the:
- Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
- Prepare fixed asset register
- Reconcile all inter-company loan account balances
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
- Forecast costs and revenues
- Organize internal audits
- Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
- Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Finance
- 4 years of accounting experience
