Job Title: Procurement Administrator
Duties & Responsibilities
Procurement
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time, and at the right price.
- Create orders for procurement of materials from local and international suppliers.
- Chase suppliers & freight forwarders and update internal feedback systems with expected due dates, delays, quantities, etc.
- Follow-up on quotes, back orders, pricing changes, deliveries, etc.
- Validate material deliveries and capture GRN/invoices for goods received the same day. Scan supplier documents to the Finance department.
- Ensure GRN/invoice discrepancies are investigated & resolved as quickly as possible.
- Process items & and credit notes for goods returned to suppliers.
- Ensure data accuracy of systems (correct pricing, delivery schedules, removal of redundant POs etc.)
- Work closely with production to ensure materials are available when required/as per availability/priority and communicate inbound deliveries & received shortages.
- Ensure that all procurement activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures & ISO requirements.
Stock Control
- Verify physical inventory & investigate variances/stock outs and take appropriate action to resolve issues and correct system.
- Ensure shortages on jobs kitted to the production lines are communicated to the relevant personnel.
- Organise and facilitate stock take/cycle counts.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
The ideal candidate must:
- Have at least 3-5 years of procurement experience within the electronics industry (essential).
- Be heavily systems-driven, and have experience ensuring MRP/ERP systems (e.g. Syspro, SAP, etc.) are kept continuously up to date (essential).
- Have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, analytical skills, etc. (essential).
- Have strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Take initiative and have meticulous attention to detail.
- Must be a team player.

Package & Remuneration
R15 000 – R20 000 CTC (Cost to Company).
