Job Title: Branch Manager – Auto Machinist background
Introduction
As a Manager with the company, you will assume a leadership role in a high-performance business with a focus on revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for the financial performance, growth, and operational quality of your branch.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and address all critical training and development needs to mobilize staff to perform their functions effectively.
- Planned, implement, and manage projects to meet the agreed timelines while adhering to the planned cost budgets.
- Ensure effective and optimum utilization of all resources, inclusive of human resources.
- Effective management of business development function: Identify new business opportunities, and monitor and assess the market environment regarding competitors and current customers.
- Maintain safety standards and always comply with the company’s safety instructions and requirements.
- Must meet with suppliers and customers to resolve any issues.
- Facilitate the motivation, loyalty, and goal-directed activities of all employees and identify possible areas for improvement.
- Ensure that the work done is in accordance with the company’s standards.
- Ensure operation growth, operational planning, and Operational quality.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- N2 Trade-related subjects, or 5 years as qualified Auto Machines.
- Recognized Trade test certificate. Diesel Mechanic
- Proficient in English & Afrikaans language.
- Minimum of 5 years of workshop Manager experience
- Understand mining machinery and Motor Engineering
- Good computer skills required – Autoplan and Microsoft
- Vast knowledge of electrical and motor engineering
- Must be able to manage a team effectively.
- Lives in Pretoria
