Job Title: Financial Bookkeeper/Accountant
Introduction
Small accounting firm in Silver Lakes is looking for an experienced, hardworking, deadline driven accountant to join their team. Must be a self-starter and be able to perform under high pressure.
Duties & Responsibilities
Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance
Liaison with clients, and gathering complete client information and documentation for bookkeeping function
Calculation and submission of VAT 201
Correspondence with and resolved SARS queries and reviews on VAT 201 submissions
Calculating and submission of IRP6’s
Preparation of financial / management statements
Good understanding of accounting controls and adhering to accounting standards
Desired Experience & Qualification
SAIPA / SAICA articles will be advantageous
At least 5 years experience in an equivalent field
Working experience on recognized accounting software
Strong communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
Package & Remuneration
R17 000 – R25 000.
