Job Title: Junior Accountant- Manufacturing Industry
Introduction
A company based in Edenvale is searching for a driven junior accountant to join our dynamic team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Calculate material requirements for products to be manufactured.
- Carry out the necessary research on materials
- Create new product codes, load all material requirements, and create relevant documents per item (e.g. Job cards).
- Ensure all costs of materials are up to date.
- Assist with client quotations and generate WO
- Ensure creditor’s information is kept up to date and reconciled
- Debtors are followed up on
- Knowledge of VIP payroll
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3 – 4 years experience with Pastel Evolution
- Extensive knowledge of Excel formulas
- Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
- A professional appearance.
- A valid driver’s license.
