Job Title: UI/UX Designer – 6-month Contract
Introduction
Our client is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join us on a contractual basis. This individual will play a pivotal role in designing and refining the user experience of both their administration web app and mobile app, working in close collaboration with their development teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
User Research: Conduct user research to gather insights, identify pain points, and understand user needs for both web and mobile platforms
Design: Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes for our web and mobile applications
Collaboration: Engage closely with the web and mobile development teams to ensure accurate translation of designs
Feedback Integration: Gather feedback from stakeholders and iterate on design solutions
Documentation: Document design guidelines, user flows, and design rationale for both platforms
Usability Testing: Conduct usability tests across platforms to validate design choices and improve user satisfaction
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies
Desired Experience & Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Demonstrable UI/UX design experience with a robust portfolio of design projects across web and mobile.
Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
Experience with user-centered design and testing methodologies.
Solid understanding of web responsiveness, mobile design principles, and platform-specific best practices.
Ability to articulate design ideas and solutions to developers and stakeholders
Experience designing for React-based web applications and Flutter-based mobile apps
Familiarity with web accessibility standards and best practices.
Basic knowledge of front-end development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Proficiency with tools like InVision or Marvel for prototyping
Initial 6-month contract
