Job Title: C# Software Developer
Introduction
Exaro group includes a number of South African and Nigerian companies that develop and maintain custom-developed software products in identity management, health, and insurance markets. We have been around for more than 20 years and our solutions support thousands of transactions on a daily basis in Nigeria.
The available position is for the development and maintenance of products in the insurance and financial markets. The successful candidate will be working with a team of developers in South Africa and Nigeria. The successful candidate must be able to work independently.
No traveling is anticipated. The candidate can make use of our office in Pretoria but can also work fully remotely.
Duties & Responsibilities
You will work with the Exaro CTO, client users, and technical leads to determine requirements, develop software, do first-level testing, deploy, support UAT, and support the products.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in software development
- At least 4 years experience in C#/Asp.net
- Proven experience using a frontend framework, preference given if the framework is Angular
- Proven experience using Azure Dev Ops or similar collaborative project management tool
- Ability to work with a team and deliver based on predefined timelines
- Strong understanding of SQL, with a preference for someone with experience using PostgreSQL and MSSQL.
- Experience using an ORM-like entity framework or Dapper
Package & Remuneration
This is a permanent position.
The renumeration will be dependent on qualification and experience and will be in the order of R40,000 – R80,000 per month.
