Job Title: SHE Officer – Manufacturing
Introduction
Custom Bulk Bags is currently recruiting for a SHE Officer to join our team in New Germany, KZN. The ideal candidate will have five years’ experience in a similar position, preferably from the manufacturing industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for Safety, Health and Environment functions
- Ensure that ISO14000 is maintained at the required level
- Lead, maintain and develop SHE programmes
- Conduct internal SHE audits and risk assessments
- Monitory safe working conditions at all times
- Report on SHE related issues
- Attend to IOD matters and be available for call outs if required
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Relevant tertiary OHS qualification
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role (within bulk bag or manufacturing environment advantageous)
- Certified in ISO 14001:2015
- Certified in ISO 45000:2018 implementation (preferred)
- SAMTRACK qualification or similar
- Certified in Risk Assessment Methodology and Root Cause Incident investigation
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
Package & Remuneration
Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
