How to Apply to Cape Peninsula University of Technology
The Cape Peninsula University of Technology 2023 application can be done in either of two ways: hardcopy or online.
You may apply online. In order to apply online you will need a working email address and a functional cell phone number, or, if you are an international applicant, your passport number.
Remember: Non-SA citizens (including those with Permanent Residency), Non-SA matric certificate and RPL applicants can only apply using a hardcopy application form.
Once you’ve completed the online application, you don’t need to send a hardcopy application. Hardcopy application is available online and on-campus for those who don’t have access to an internet connection.
CPUT Hardcopy Application
The Cape Peninsula University of Technology paper application forms are available online and on-campus. However, there are two different application forms; one for undergraduate applicants and the other for postgraduates.
An applicant can also collect a form at the Registration and Applications Office on the various campuses.
Applicants, who apply using the hardcopy application, are required to pay an application fee of R100 before the application form can be processed. All applicants must attach a copy of the proof of payment to their application form. Tip: keep the original proof of payment, just in case.
A non-refundable late application fee of R150 is applicable to applications submitted after the official closing date. Late applications are only accepted if late applications have been officially announced by the institution on its website.

Where to Submit the CPUT Application Form?
Completed application forms and accompanying documents must be submitted to the Admissions Office. You can submit your application form and accompanying documents in two ways:
1. Forms can be hand-delivered at the campus where the programme is offered. The venues of the offering of all courses are outlined in the application form.
2. Forms can also be posted to the Admissions Office at the campus where the programme is offered, by using the addresses below.
