Job Title: New Product Developer
Introduction
Exciting career opportunity at an important role player in the food manufacturing industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
Upgrade and Develop new innovative, cost-effective & factory orientated products for Paarl sites. Help drive & Initiate profitable growth of allocated categories through creative product development and upgrades.
Project management of critical path with various teams to enable successful launches in line with customer agreements.
Customer presentations: highly professional product presentations that deliver & exceed customer expectations on Product quality and documentation.
Clear timeous communication: With customer and internally
Ensuring NPD Recipes and documentation is captured and up to date against given timelines.
Local and Global Market awareness TRENDS, constantly being aware of the market, trends & competition. Identifying GAPS and new opportunities to grow the business.
Customer Relationship, Project Management & Clear Communication at multiple levels.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Diploma or Degree in Food Science/Technology
Minimum 3-year Diploma: Advanced Culinary Arts, / Diploma in Food Preparation & Cooking.
3 – 8 years work experience

Hands-on involvement where required: Factory or Kitchen.

Package & Remuneration
