Job Title: Paramedic
Introduction
Being a paramedic is a rewarding and challenging career that requires individuals to provide emergency medical care to people in need and willing to Relocate to the UK. As a paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, assessing the patient’s condition, providing medical treatment, and transporting the patient to a hospital or medical facility. You will work in a high-pressure environment that requires quick decision-making, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responding to emergency calls: Paramedics are responsible for responding to emergency calls from dispatch centers, hospitals, and other emergency services.
- Assessing the patient’s condition: Upon arrival at the scene, the paramedic must assess the patient’s condition and gather information on the patient’s medical history and any preexisting medical conditions.
- Providing emergency medical treatment: Based on the patient’s condition, paramedics must administer emergency medical treatments such as CPR, oxygen, defibrillation, or medication.
- Transporting patients: After providing emergency medical treatment, paramedics must safely transport the patient to a hospital or medical facility.
- Communicating with medical personnel: Paramedics must communicate effectively with hospital staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers to provide accurate information on the patient’s condition and medical treatment.
- Maintaining equipment and supplies: Paramedics must ensure that their equipment and supplies are up-to-date and in good working order.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Emergency Medical Care.
- Diploma in Emergency medical care.
Package & Remuneration
SALARY – BAND-5 to BAND-6 (£28,407 – £35,392)
