Job Title: Quality Auditor
Introduction
Unitrade 745 (Pty) Ltd is currently seeking a Quality Auditor.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Performance Areas
- Provide strategic and change leadership to the Quality Assurance team.
- Liaise with Management and staff to ensure that the quality management system is functioning efficiently.
- Conduct and manage internal system audits.
- Conduct supplier/customer audits and implement quality development when deemed necessary.
- Investigate and communicate with manufacturing on non-conforming goods and warranties.
- Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
- Maintain IATF 16949 system in accordance with the standard.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- B Tech Degree / BSC Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or National Diploma in Quality Management (Essential)
- ISO 9001 Certificate. (Essential)
- Min 3 years related experience in Automotive Manufacturing Environment exposure to OEM. (Essential)
- Min 3 years experience in a supervisory position. (Advantageous)
- Min 5 years of working experience in the use of Quality Core Tools (i.e. SPC, MSA, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis). (Essential)
- 5 years of Quality Engineer experience. (Essential)
- Strong knowledge of Quality Systems within the industry IATF / VDA 6.3 audit training. (Advantageous)
- Full understanding of G8D corrective actions. (Essential)
- Must have implemented quality control systems and monitoring.
