Job Title: Project Manager

Purpose of the Position:

The project manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. The project manager will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the entire process.

This is all done within the confines of a company’s goals and vision. This includes setting deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitoring the progress of projects. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of a project. The project manager will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.They will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Task Management (Planning, Testing, Tracking, Reporting).
  • Bentley Systems Account Management.

KPI – Key Performance Indicators:

  • Organizing time intelligently and efficiently for greater productivity.
  • An estimate of income and expenditure for a set period for each project and keeping within budget scope and requirements.
  • To manage members of the team, responsible for getting each task done.
  • Set boundaries on your project and define exactly what goals, deadlines, objectives, and project deliverables you’ll be working towards without delay.
  • To identify, evaluate, and prevent or mitigate risks to a project that have the potential to impact the desired outcomes.
  • Process and monitor project tasks through their various stages from start to finish.
  • Account Management.
  • Management of various team members on each project.
  • Compliance on:
  • SHE – Safety, Health, and Environment.
  • QMS – Quality Management Systems.
  • ROC – RPAS Operations Certificate
  • SASOL Compliance

Responsibilities and Duties:

Key responsibilities & duties are but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills.
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.
  • Providing a high-level overview of critical data, the project generates.
  • Evaluate and review the Project Phase – identify the status of the project, organizing, storing, and distributing digital assets across a project or organization.
  • Lead Account Manager for Bentley Systems (Account, Training, and Product Sales).
