Job Title: Workshop Maintenance Manager
Introduction
Our client based in the North West area is seeking to employ a Workshop Maintenance Manager.
The Maintenance Manager will oversee and lead maintenance procedures in and around the workshop.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
- Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
- Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure the functionality
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
- Allocate workload and supervise the team
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
- Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12
- Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing will be advantageous.
- More than 5 years of Proven experience as a maintenance manager or other managerial role
- Manage a team
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to negotiate prices with service providers
- Thorough knowledge of Drywalls
- Thorough knowledge of Electrical work
- Thorough knowledge of Plumbing
- Able to coordinate projects
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
