Job Title: Handyman: Bricklaying – Physical Planning and Operations Division, Ref: 2023/07/PP02
Introduction
The PPO office requires the services of a Handyman Bricklaying who will work alongside the Bricklayer and Plumbers in executing the required tasks as part of the maintenance team.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Building/Plastering
- General Construction labor
- Patch and paint as required
- Assemble components
- General maintenance
Duties & Responsibilities
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified Artisan
- 5-10 Years experience in construction and building works.
- Candidates with individual work experience as independent Bricklayers will also be considered.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand/bend for long periods.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to obtain police clearance.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge
- Knowledge of construction and building works, bricklaying.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction of buildings and in bricklaying works.
- Basic knowledge of occupational Health and Safety protocol in the building industry and the general bricklaying works.
Skills

Introduction

- General construction labor
- Health and Safety
Duties & Responsibilities
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Artisan Certificate (with tiling expertise).
- 5-10 Years experience in tiling works within the built-environment Management.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in construction and works related to tiling.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand/bend for long periods.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to obtain police clearance.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge
- Knowledge tiling in the construction industry.
- Tiling.
- General building and construction industry.
- Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety protocol in the building industry and the construction industry in general.
