Transnet Traineeship Programme

Transnet SOC Ltd is a large South African rail, port, and pipeline company, headquartered in the Carlton Centre in Johannesburg. It was formed as a limited company on 1 April 1990. A majority of the company’s stock is owned by the Department of Public Enterprises, or DPE, of the South African government.

Requirements

• Grade 12 with pure Mathematics and/or Physical Science
• Be prepared to undergo periodic medical surveillance and safety behavioral risk assessments during the selection process and every 12 months.
• Physical hearing, vision, mental, fitness (to be verified through medical tests and related safety behavioral risk assessments)

Yard Official --Advertisements-- Be prepared to successfully undergo Yard Official duties training (theoretical and practical) and be certified to work independently as a Yard Official.

Train assistant The candidate should be a minimum of 1.6 meters tall Psychomotor ability (to be assessed through Vienna Testing System (VTS) standard) Ability to carry heavy objects
