Job Title: Junior Appliances Technician
Introduction
Tevo is currently recruiting for a Junior Appliances Technician to join their dynamic team.
Main Job Purpose
Repairing of Large household appliances such as Fridge, Washing machines, Stoves, and so forth
Minimum Requirements
- Matric & N6 (mechanical or electrical engineering)
- 1 year of related appliance repairs
- Must be abreast of latest technologies / developments in home appliances.
- Should demonstrate excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Drivers license
- Must achieve exceptional customer service.
- Must be fully computer literate in Microsoft Word (Excel,Word, PowerPoint,etc)
Key Performance Areas
Technician management
- Assessing allocated appliances.
- Requesting spares from the administration team.
- Repairing allocated appliances.
- Cleaning and packaging repaired units.
- Writing technical reports when required.
- Communicating with customers with regard to technical queries.
- Keeping the work area clean and safe all the time.
Customer Care Management
- Provide customers with technical support including walk-in customers
Required Skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (speaking and writing).
- Basic usage of computers (typing).
- Ability to work with others in teams.
- Attention to detail.
- Target driven.
- Good knowledge of household appliances is an added advantage.
Package & Remuneration
