Job Title: Junior Industrial Engineer (Cape Town)

Purpose:
As a junior industrial engineer, you will be an integral part of our technical team. You will be working closely with our team of industrial engineers to ensure effective delivery of our logistics software while providing technical support to our clients. You will also be focused on optimization and data analytics to ensure we stay competitive in this changing environment. You will also design or analyze operational solutions for projects such as transportation optimization, network modeling, process and methods analysis, cost containment, capacity enhancement, routing and shipment optimization, or information management.
Duties & Responsibilities
Areas of Responsibilities:
• Provide logistics technology or information for effective and efficient support of products or services.
• Identify cost-reduction or process-improvement logistic opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze logistics processes.
• Review contractual commitments, customer specifications, or related information to determine logistics or support requirements.
• Provide technical support to clients.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Engineering (BEng) in Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• Less than 2 years of industry experience needed
Package & Remuneration
Salary – R 25, 000.00 (Depending on experience).
