Job Title: Workshop Manager
Introduction
A company specializing in the service and repairs of vehicles, is looking for a Workshop Manager who will manage and lead a team of people in allocating workload and managing the day-to-day operations in the workshop.
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties including but not limited to the following;
- booking in vehicles
- test driving vehicles before instructions are given to the mechanics
- dealing with quotations
- dealing with all customer queries
- manage mechanics, fitters, and cleaners
- allocate work to workshop employees and control productivity
- ensure mechanics find and report every fault on every vehicle
- ensure parts arrive on time
- ensure mechanics comply with mechanic checklist and duties
- check that all parts that are supplied to mechanics are fitted and old parts are put in the vehicle boot
- supervise complicated repairs
- diagnose problems
- supervise administrative duties
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric
- At least 2 years experience in business management and vehicle repair background
- Experience in administrative work
- IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- With an infinity of sales and services
- Strong team player.
