Job Title: Senior Human Resources Practitioner
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Practitioner with a strong background in production to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of comprehensive HR experience and a proven track record in managing human resources functions within the production and/or manufacturing industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead HR initiatives that align with our organizational goals and foster a positive work environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support the production division’s goals and objectives.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
- Provide guidance and support in employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Oversee and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Develop and execute training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of production employees.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and implement proactive solutions for workforce planning and development.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and legal requirements to ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant and effective.
- Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives to create an inclusive workplace culture that values and respects all employees.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resource Management, or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible HR experience, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
- Strong background in production or manufacturing industries, with a deep understanding of their unique HR challenges and requirements.
- You have demonstrated the ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to production and manufacturing industries.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other HR-related software tools.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are preferred, but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Package & Remuneration
Salary: R40k to R45k CTC.
