Job Title: Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic
Introduction
Opsicol has an opportunity for a qualified Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic to join our team at Delmas. The successful candidate must have 5 years of experience in the heavy earthmoving/mining equipment industry and a Trade Certificate as a Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic and be competent in reading and understanding hydraulic, pneumatics, and electrical schematics.
Duties & Responsibilities
*Qualified Diesel or earth moving mechanic certificate
*At least 5 years of experience in mining machinery
*Sober qualities
*Medical fit
*Must be good in fault finding on electrical, hydraulics, and mechanical
*Team player and team builder
*Willing to work overtime and be on standby if needed
*Do regular preventive maintenance
*Manage inventory of parts and maintain the cleanliness of the workplace
*Perform major and minor repairs on yellow machinery-Excavator, dozer, grader,adt, Fel, tipper trucks, water bowsers
*Experience on the following machinery will be to advantage
-Luigong-856h,950e,970e,B230,425 and 4180
-Bell-B40d,B40e
-Volvo-A35e,A40f
-Man trucks-TGS 41.480
-Powerstar-1729,2628

- SHEQ.
- Machine Inspections: Field and Workshop.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics.
- Machine Repairs: Field and Workshop.
- Machine Services: Field and Workshop.
- Machine and Component Disassembly and Assembly (new and rebuild).
