Job Title: Finance Controller
Duties & Responsibilities
– Ensuring all transactions are captured timeously and accurately
– Validating allocations of expenses
– Multi-currency transactions experience essential
– Responsibility for daily cashbook posting and reconciliation
– Approving Creditors reconciliations
– Reviewing Payment packs for completion prior to submission to Operations and Finance leads for sign off
– Supporting the Finance team in the execution of their tasks
– Responsibility for ensuring all customer and supplier queries are promptly and professionally dealt with
– Timeous dispatch of debtor statements and follow-up of overdue amounts
– Engage with the operations team to prepare and maintain non-financial records and reports
– Assist with LC pre-validation checks and compilation of submission packs
– Maintain fixed asset register
– Timeous preparation of the weekly working capital report
– Preparation of monthly journals for approval prior to processing
– Preparation of monthly management reports
– Balancing of monthly intercompany, loans, debtors & creditors
– Participated in ongoing process and control system improvement projects
– Assist with SARS audits
– Prepare audit pack for annual audit
– Attend to ad hoc tasks assigned from time to time
Desired Experience & Qualification
– Matric
– NQF level 6 or higher qualifications
– Minimum 5 years of work experience
– Staff management experience
– Proficient in Excel (At least intermediate) and Outlook
– Pastel Partner experience preferred
