Metsimaholo Municipality LGSETA Internships

Metsimaholo Local Municipality invites unemployed graduates to apply for LGSET Internship Programme 2023/2024.

The Local Government Sector Education and Training Authority (LGSETA) provides an environment to facilitate the training and up-skilling of various employees and people involved in local government structures, as well as unemployed South Africans.

This entails creating and implementing a variety of skills development interventions such as the Sector Skills Plan (SSP) and learning programmes aimed at local government employees and others working within the sphere such as traditional leaders and ward councillors.

The Metsimaholo Local Municipality recruitment database will be active for a period of one year. Internship details are as follows:

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma

DURATION

  • 12  Months (Fixed Term Contract)

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

Interns will be required to perform departmental duties assigned to them in a satisfactory manner to advance their practical knowledge of the field of work.

Interns will be placed in departments and perform duties as per their field of study and qualification.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be computer literate.
